OxyChem’s Ingleside plant increased its capabilities with the addition of a new ethylene cracker unit capable of producing 1.2 billion pounds per year. The new facility covers an area of about 265 acres on the northwest quadrant of the existing OxyChem complex. TWE provided construction materials testing services to the project general contractor, Chicago Bridge & Iron Co., through a full-time engineering technician for about 30 months.
