The Houston Business Journal honored Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. at an awards ceremony this month, recognizing TWE as one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston.

TWE ranked #86 in the publication’s prestigious annual list, known as the Fast 100. TWE received the award at a ceremony on November 10, which had been postponed following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

“We’re honored to be ranked amongst the most successful, growing companies headquartered in the Energy Capital of the World,” said TWE Vice President Doug Weslow, who accepted the award. “All of the credit goes to our incredible staff all across the Gulf Coast as well as our respected clients. Great things are underway at TWE.”

2017 is the second year in a row that TWE has been named to the Fast 100 and its sixth year to make the list overall. As an industry leader in geotechnical engineering, environmental services, construction materials testing and deep foundations testing, TWE continues to build on its exceptional safety record while completing more and larger projects across the Gulf Coast and the world.

The annual Fast 100 List, which recognizes the fastest-growing Houston-based private companies, is published by the Houston Business Journal, a newspaper dedicated to the city’s business community. Companies on the list are ranked by two-year revenue growth. In order to qualify, companies must have closed five full fiscal years, be headquartered in the Houston area, earned at least $1 million in revenue for last full fiscal year, and be for-profit and privately held.
