Dry-Cleaner Remediation Program—STATE OF TEXAS
The Dry Cleaner Remediation Program (DCRP) establishes a prioritization list of dry cleaner sites and administers the Dry Cleaning Facility Release Fund to assist with remediation of contamination caused by dry-cleaning solvents. A closure list has been created to indicate the DCRP sites that have met Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulatory standards. The Environmental Field Services department at Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. has been contracted to provide remediation drilling services for the DCRP for the past two years. TWE’s field crews mobilize drill rigs to various sites throughout the state and install monitoring wells for sampling and then plug and abandon the wells post-sampling.
