Tolunay-Wong Engineers Principal Engineer and Senior Project Manager Jaideep Chatterjee will speak at the 2016 Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference and Show organized by American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), New Orleans Branch on Wednesday, 28 September at the Pontchartrain Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jaideep’s presentation on comparative evaluation of large diameter helical piles and driven piles for offshore foundations was selected by this prestigious organization for presentation as part of the Geotechnical series.
Jaideep obtained his M.S and Ph.D degrees, both in Geotechnical Engineering, with emphasis on Finite Element analysis of foundations and embankments, from The State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. He has extensive prior experience with working on numerous New Orleans hurricane protection projects undertaken by USACE after Hurricane Katrina and he had significantly contributed to the geotechnical design of the City of New Orleans flood protection systems.
This annual conference and show is well attended by Engineers from across the United States and abroad and includes technical sessions covering a wide variety of Civil Engineering areas including Geotechnical, Transportation, Structural, Coastal and Ethics.
