Detailed geotechnical studies, laboratory testing, and geotechnical consultation for feasibility studies and preliminary engineering design. Grassroots LNG receiving terminal including three major LNG storage tanks, processing areas, and marine receiving facilities. Detailed geotechnical studies included deep borings, geophysical logging of deep borings for fault hazard assessment, cone penetration testing, seismocone testing, trial excavations, extensive laboratory testing, and development of geotechnical engineering criteria for preliminary design of LNG storage tanks, process areas, and mooring terminal.

Grassroots facility and major expansions to NGL, storage and processing facility. Developed scope of geotechnical investigations, provided field monitoring of geotechnical field investigations using geotechnical drilling and CPT techniques, observed laboratory procedures and provided oversight of laboratory, and developed geotechnical engineering finds and recommendations.
EXXON MOBIL UPSTREAM DEVELOPMENT
CEPU Production Facilities AND FLUOR DANIEL
Development of grassroots crude oil production facilities, onshore and near shore including pipeline and offloading terminal. Provided geotechnical engineer consultation and oversight of marine field explorations. Provided geotechnical review and geological hazards consultations for onshore facilities. The scope of work included developing independent assessments of seismicity, seismic response, and other geotechnical hazards. These consulting services played a significant role in developing a more realistic and much less conservative of assessment of sesmic hazards and faulting.
