POSITION: GEOTECHNICAL ENGINNER            Posted on 02-03-2012
HOURS: WEEKDAYS, 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
DUTIES:
(1) Conduct Static Pile Load Test and High Strain Dynamic Pile Load Test for concrete, steel pipe piles and H-piles, and timber piles;
(2) Perform test for auger-cast piles or cast-in-place concrete piles to determine the pile capacity;
(3) Conduct Sonic Logging Test to verify the integrity of drilled shafts, auger-cast, and concrete piles;
(4) Perform engineering analysis such as settlement analysis using Unisettle, slope stability analysis, pile capacity curve, Flexible and Rigid pavements;
(5) Provide geotechnical design and construction recommendations for shallow and deep foundation projects;
(6) Conduct field data collection of instrumentation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MS degree in civil or geotechnical engineering and at least 6 months research experience in civil or geotechnical engineering issues
